Yorubas of Nottingham Nottinghamshire organises ASA day event to promote and encourage an indigenous culture of Yoruba with holistic approach to community development. ASA Day Event features cultural exhibitions, lectures and presentations on Yoruba Ancestral Culture, Fashion, Music, Dances, Language, etc. The event also features Beauty Pageant, Best Dressed Competitions, Awards to major players and promoters of Yoruba culture, etc.

The first ASA Day event was held on Saturday 30th November 2019. The YONN (TYCANN) Magazine was also launched on that day as part of the programme of activities for that day.

The 2022 ASA Day was held on Saturday, 3rd November 2022, during which a new edition of the YONN Magazine was launched by the then Lord Mayor of Nottingham, Councillor Wendy Smith.

The next ASA Day will be held on Saturday, 21st  September 2024.
