As part of the programmes for the celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the African Corner Notts is organising the Afro Beats in the Park at a special Free Family Fun Fair event, scheduled to hold as follow:

Date:  Saturday 9th July 2022

Time: 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Venue: Melbourne Park, Melbourne Road, Aspley, Nottingham, NG8 5HU.

The African Corner Notts is organising this special event in partnership with other bodies including the Yorubas of Nottingham Nottinghamshire (YONN), Nottingham City Council, ACN Network Nottingham, Shifting Your Mindset, BRAAI King, Luyando Community Services, Wonderful Way CIC, and Shaping Creative Mind.

The event is planned to be loaded with good music with sumptuous meals and good drinks to be readily available.

Some of the music genre to feature at the event include Amapiano, Kizomba, Fuji, Afro Pop, Salsa, and many more.

All residents of Nottingham, especially those of Afro-Caribbean origin are cordially invited to attend this free event.

Attendees are enjoined to come along with their Picnic Blankets.
